This framework will also be trialled collaboratively through nature education initiatives and reviewed by education practitioners, to make it replicable, unbiased, easy-to-use and relevant to the nature and conservation education community in India.
The objectives of this project are listed below:
- Designing a framework for Nature Classrooms to assess the ongoing nature education projects through a pre and post intervention study.
- To explore the relationship that teachers and students share with nature, assess their understanding about the environment and determine how nature learning interventions influence this dynamic.ii)
- To understand and assess the impact of age-appropriate nature learning interventions on students’ attitudes and perceptions towards local biodiversity.
